Springtime

Happy Spring! I wanted to get this done before Easter, but with it being so early this year it didn't happen. I know I haven't updated in a while because nothing overly exciting has happened, so I decided to come up with something on my own. Here is a list of my 10 favorite things about spring:

1) Flowers
Especially daffodils, they are one of my all-time favorite flowers and I just
love seeing them blooming all over the place.



2) Green Grass
It's just wonderful and it feels good between my toes!

3) Soccer Season
For years I either played soccer or was a referee, so springtime always makes me want to dig out my cleats and go play.

4) Planting a garden
Growing up, my family had a HUGE garden. It was always a family activity to plant it together. Here are a couple of really old pictures of us kids. And yes, I'm the youngest one sitting on the ground trying to decide if I want to eat the dirt.





5) Bright colors are everywhere!! No more drab winter blues and grays.

6) Capris
what can I say, I just love them! they look so classic, yet very modern. I
especially like these from JCrew



7) Asparagus season
my family always over to Tremonton during the springtime and pick the wild asparagus on the canal banks. YUMMY!!



8) Yard Work
Yes, I know it's hard and not very fun. But it makes things look so beautiful!

9) Fun Floral Prints
I saw this pattern in Pottery Barn and fell in love with it! I'm slowly buying
the whole set! Florals are everywhere during springtime and I love how bright
and cheery they look



10) Last but not least: PLAYING OUTSIDE!!
This is a picture of Jaidance at the Lion fountain at Hogle Zoo. Seriously,
doesn't every kid that grew up in Utah have one of these pictures?
