I think I've mentioned this on here before, but my dad had to take a job in Baton Rouge, Louisianna and because of many complicated reasons, my mom couldn't go with him. So they are doing the long-distance relationship thing after 37 years of marriage and I know my dad gets lonely out there. Jake & I got to take a weekend and visit him. It was a wonderfully relaxed 2 days of hanging out, eating good food, and just spending time with my 2 favorite men in the world!
Roadside farmer's market. Not sure why I'm obsessed with farmers markets, but I love them.
Living alone, I think my dad eats out at restaurants and a lot of convenience foods at home. So we decided to cook for him while we were there. Grilled steaks and asparagus for dinner

Have you ever had ebelskivers? They are a Danish puffed pancake. They are like delicious little pillows. They are a tradition from my dad's side of the family, so it was fun to make them together
Jake helped a lot :)
Watched a lot of movies and played a lot of scrabble
It was an awesome weekend. Love my dad!
