And I've spent ALL DAY making conversation heart cookies. Does anyone else out there hate making sugar cookies? I just think they are so tedious and time-consuming. Well, I saw this adorable recipe and decided to try it. My husband is now sworn, under oath, to shoot me in the head if I ever decide to make sugar cookies again. I think I've spent about 5 hours on this project today. In the recipe, she says that the dough is "finicky", well that is the understatement of the century. It wasn't just finicky, it was like wedgie-under-your-nylons annoying. Horrible. Oh well, they did turned out perfectly; the cookies are moist and soft, and the colors are vibrant and saturated. Now we get to spend time delivering our cute little valentine treat bags to a few friends. Long live cupid!
