Next Valley Girl?

Oh. My. Goodness. I have a company trip to New Orleans this weekend and was wishing I could go with a hint of summery glow. I'm not into the tanning bed/skin cancer thing, so I decided to try spray tanning. It was quite an experience! I went in to a great salon here in Salt Lake called the Spa Club. It was a bit pricey, but on some things I figure that you get what you pay for, so I'd better not cheap out on a spray tan. So you get into this little room and strip down completely, then stand there awkwardly as an aesthetician air-brushes you. So when we were all done the girl turned on a fan and told me to air-dry before I got dressed. I guess I'm a total idiot, because I thought that meant that I should stand there til it dried completely. Well, 45 minutes later she came back to see if I had passed out in there. I guess she should've explained that it wouldn't dry completely for quite some time and I'd be ok just getting dressed after 10 minutes or so. Oops, haha! It must have been the extra time I gave it to dry, or maybe my skin just takes the color really well because when Jake & I skyped last night, he told me I looked like a Mexican. What do you think?.

I was freaking out at how dark it was when I woke up this morning, but I'm happy to report that after a good scrub-down in the shower, it looks pretty good. It's definitely lightened up and I think I like it! I don't think I'll do it again, but it was fun to try it out once and see what I'd look like as a SoCal girl!

LOL I can't believe he told you that you look like a Mexican. HAHHAH. You look like a summer girl, I LOVE it.
(and, funny side note, the word verification for me right now is 'skinso').

P.S. your blog is private, so take off the word verification! lol

1) You are really dark
2) At least you're not orange (my spray tan was a cheap one, and I definitely got what I payed for! Plus it stunk...bad, for days...yeah)
3) I like that your friend Amy puts down the funny word verification things, because I do that a lot too, though not lately because I'm lazy. But mine is "entipar", and I like it. I think I shall use it in everyday language. Okay, tangent done, back to you - I think you're beautiful, even all dark and tan and stuff! :)

I think you look hot like the Malibu Barbi version of Heather, I never knew you had that hiding in you!
